Pino opens a new solar park in their installations

Born, grow, innovate. Adapt to change. Anticipate the future.

R&D&i is part of Pino’s DNA, which is why its manufacturing plant is a space in constant evolution.

Last week, the inauguration of Pino’s new solar park took place. The solar installation, in addition to supplying the factory facilities with the necessary energy, will generate an annual production of 725,660 MWh. Self-consumption will not only result in cost savings but will also reduce emissions by more than 80 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere, equivalent to 3,263 trees per year.

In this way, Pino strengthens its commitment to Villafranca de Córdoba, creating greener jobs and reinforcing sustainability as a strategic cornerstone of the organization.

The inauguration was presided over by Francisco Palomares, Mayor of Villafranca de Córdoba, and Juana Pino, CEO of the Group, accompanied by other members of the municipality, Pino’s management team, and Helexia, the company responsible for the installation: José Antonio Ariza, Secretary of the City Council; Etienne Le Pargneux, Director of Helexia Spain; José Ramón Domínguez, Project Manager of Helexia Spain; Inés Pino, Product Director; Manuel Ayllón, CFO; José Blanco, Commercial Director; and Blas Hidalgo, Technician in Pino Kitchens & Bathrooms’ R&D Department.

In the words of Juana Pino, CEO of Pino Kitchens & Bathrooms:
“At Pino, we maintain a strong commitment to sustainable innovation, investing our resources and efforts in the use of 100% renewable, inexhaustible, and non-polluting energy. Our commitment is to future generations, to the creation of green jobs, and to the development of a strong economy in Villafranca de Córdoba.”
