A Layout Designed for Compact Spaces
The room’s dimensions and the presence of two access points—to the laundry room at one end and the rest of the home at the other—dictated the layout. The solution was to opt for parallel linear cabinetry, which keeps circulation paths clear while making the most of the two available walls.
This configuration concentrates the kitchen’s various functions without overcrowding the space. The work zones face each other and everything is just a few steps away, facilitating movement and creating a more fluid cooking experience.
In a small kitchen, maximizing space is not just about adding furniture, but about ensuring that every element meets a specific need.
The combination of wall and base units allows for efficient storage distribution while keeping the work surfaces clear.
Serene Design: Grey-on-Grey Kitchen
The fronts in Braque 05 matte laminate finish provide a sober and uniform aesthetic. The integrated J-pull handle system reinforces the continuity of the surfaces and avoids adding elements that could visually clutter a kitchen of contained dimensions.
The Silestone Gris Expo quartz countertop extends across the workspace and continues as a backsplash, creating a seamless surface that brings unity to the design. In addition to making cleaning easier, this solution helps build a tidy and contemporary image.
